Weight: 125 lbs. (7:45 a.m.)

Lunch: Italian Meat Sauce, Spaghetti squash

Dinner: Cauliflower Rice, Steamed Broccoli with Ghee, baked chicken

Snacks: carrots, zuke hummus, almonds, apple, water, tea

Sleep: 8 hours

The day went fine, but snacked more than I knew I should have. I was very very bored and not motivated at all to do anything on my To Do List at work. Tomorrow, I told myself, Tomorrow.

Ran errands and got home around 7:30 p.m. A wave of exhaustion just about knocked me over, and it was all I could do to make dinner. I cleaned a few dishes, prepped a few things for the weekend and crawled into bed at 9:50, with lights out at 10:30.

DAY 2:

Breakfast: Italian Meat Sauce, Spaghetti squash, tea

Lunch:

Dinner:

Sleep: 7.5 hours

Woke up OK. Got some chores done, made some mashed acorn squash for dinner. Breakfast was the meat sauce leftovers and after that, sluggishness hit and it hard all morning. Even weepy and little depressed.  Just sad today. I saw the snow on the mountains and started crying in the car. Texting Brian helped a little – that guy’s got a long road ahead of him with his weepy depressed girlfriend and her broken knee. I’ll try to be a good patient.

I’m wondering if that particular breakfast is contributing to my sluggishness though. It’s a heavy meal. And the tomato sauce has been basically fermenting itself the past week, so maybe it’s an early hit of sugar and I’m crashing hard. It’s also the first full week of a True Seattle Winter, where it’s rainy and gray all day and hard to wake up. I need to get back on my Vitamin D.
