Lava Tube Entrance - we hiked through old lava tubes, where lava flowed underground toward the water.

Kileaua Caldera - current active volcano on the Big Island - This was the view from the breakfast room Volcano House Hotel. The closest we got to the volcano and lava. We were told we'd get to see lava upclose, but the county wouldn't have any of that.

Suitin' up for the hike on the Kilauea Iki Trail, which goes across an old crater that still has lava running beneath the surface. Steam would come up through the cracks of the crater. See video above.
